Who manages your data?

Your data administrator is the company Epirusworld, based in Katowice at 150 Chorzowska St. We have been operating here for 9 years and respect your peace. We do not trade data or send it to companies with which we do not cooperate in building service. Your data reaches us mainly when you ask about office rental or fill out a form on our website. We guard it just as strongly as order in our underground garage.

If you have any doubts regarding what we do with your name or phone number, write to us. Our manager is Marek Wiśniewski, and he ensures that everything takes place in accordance with the law. You can contact him at [email protected]. We usually respond within 3.2 hours on working days.

What data do we collect and why do we do it?

We only collect information that we really need for work. When you use our contact form, we ask for your name, work e-mail address, and phone number. We also often ask if you are looking for a 45 m2 office or perhaps a larger 83 m2 module. We do this so Marek can prepare a specific offer and not waste your time viewing offices that don't fit your team.

We process your data for contact purposes. We want to schedule a walk-through of the building with you, show you a conference room or the Loft restaurant on the ground floor. The legal basis here is your consent or the desire to sign a lease agreement. We do not collect data about your health, views, or family. We are only interested in how we can help your company settle in at Chorzowska.

Cookies on our site

Our site uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that your browser saves on your disk. Thanks to them, we know that you are returning to us again. It also helps us understand which parts of the site are most useful. Do you check the price list more often, or maybe read about the BREEAM certificate? This information is anonymous to us – we see statistics, not specific people.

We use two types of cookies:

• Necessary: Thanks to them, the site works at all, and the contact form sends messages to Marek.
• Analytical: They allow us to check how many people visited us in the last month. We use standard tools for this that do not track your private life.

Who else has access to your information?

At Epirusworld, we don't work in a vacuum. We cooperate with several trusted companies that help us run this business. Your data may be transferred to:

• A hosting company that maintains our site on its servers.
• An e-mail provider so we can receive your messages.
• A service company if you report a fault in your office (only to the extent necessary for repair).

All our partners must comply with safety rules. We do not allow them to use your data for their own marketing purposes. Everything is based on clear rules of cooperation.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not collect papers or bytes indefinitely. If you only wrote to us with a question about an office but ultimately did not sign a contract, we will keep your data for 3 years from the last contact. We do this in case you remember us in a year and want to return to talks. If you become our tenant, we will process data throughout the duration of the contract and after its termination, in accordance with tax and accounting regulations.

Your rights – what can you do about it?

You have full control over what we know. At any time, you can write to us to:

• See what data we have about you.
• Correct an error in your name or phone number.
• Tell us to delete your data (right to be forgotten).
• Restrict processing if you think we are doing something wrong.

If you find that we are violating the law, you have the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. But before you do that, please – let Marek know. We are people and we solve most matters immediately over coffee in our restaurant on the ground floor.

Data security

Our site has an SSL certificate, which means everything you enter in the form is encrypted. It's like a digital safe. The servers on which we keep information are protected physically and systemically. Access to them is only available to selected people from our team who have undergone appropriate training. We know that confidentiality is the basis in business, so we guard your affairs as we guard the 187 spots on our parking lot – reliably and without breaks.
